Packaging Evolution

Packaging Evolution

Before our official packaging, we were operating from our kitchens - and our packages matched that vibe. Sleek black boxes and with some logo stickers were the way to go. We used white boxes for bigger orders, Packing them to the brim with bars for our day one supporters. Since the beginning, we’ve been going for a minimal vibe to reflect how your food should be simple. Minimal ingredients, easy to pronounce & easy to digest.

With time, we calculated our own nutritional facts and had them printed on Canadian government approved templates. Today, we had them calculated in a lab to verify our macros and conform to the norms of packaged food sales in Canada. We used to wrap our bars in plastic wrap and used anything we could to get an order through, whether it was boxes, bags or ziplocks. We kept this up until we had so many bars to package that our home-made system couldn’t handle. This is when we decided to take everything to the factory…

Today, we took the leap of faith into having our bars produced at large scale. With that, we needed professionally designed and manufactured packaging to stand out on the shelves. After hours of design and some production delays, we finally can say we have a complete package. The journey from black boxes and Saran Wrap to what you see today has been unbelievable. Much more to come. Just wanted to take a moment to share our journey with you and appreciate some accomplishments.
